EFFINTONE ANNOUNCES EFT-UC100 USB-C GUITAR INTERFACE CABLE

ATLANTA, GA - October 16, 2020 - Effintone, a musical instrument product innovator, presents the new Effintone EFT-UC100: a simplified and low-cost USB-C digital interface cable for electric guitar instruments. As the first product offering from the company, the EFT-UC100 will be featured in the company’s crowdfunding promotion campaign, via Kickstarter, launching on October 27. The product answers a need for reducing barriers to entry into the guitar discipline, which has seen a significant boost in popularity due to shelter-in-place restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The EFT-UC100 is a single-piece guitar interface cable which enables native connectivity of guitar to newer-model laptops, tablets and smartphones. It features a USB-C (Type-C) connector which needs no adapters from older-style USB interfaces, external power suppliers, external electronics boxes or software drivers to install.
An Effintone representative explained the motivation behind this offering: “...Musical inspiration on guitar is stoked with inspiring tone. We aim to make that experience more accessible for the beginner and intermediate player. Bringing your guitar into your computer or tablet should be as easy as it is your old tube amp.”
After the crowdfunding campaign is completed, Effintone will distribute the EFT-UC100 on Amazon.com with MSRP of $24.99.
